Theta Homes has been nominated for the prestigious 2022 Building Sustainability Award for Single Family Homes, recognizing excellence in energy-efficient residential construction in Richmond, VA.
The nomination is for the Alcazar Home — a high-performance custom home built to the highest standards of building science and energy efficiency. The home achieved a HERS score of 41, meaning it is 59% more energy efficient than a standard code-built home — a remarkable achievement in sustainable construction.
The winner will be announced on September 28 at the Building Sustainability Conference organized by Viridiant — Virginia's leading authority on high-performance, EarthCraft certified homes.
