Chaconas-McDorman Workshop Addition – Custom Woodworking Space & Functional Outbuilding Design

This project is a workshop addition designed to complement the look and character of the existing home while providing a highly functional multi-purpose space for the owners.

Approximately two-thirds of the space is dedicated to woodworking, with the remaining area used for storing garden equipment. The owners also included a ping-pong table, creating a flexible environment that balances productivity with recreation after a long day of work.

The result is a well-integrated workshop addition that combines functionality, storage, and recreational use while maintaining architectural consistency with the main house.

The owners also built pergolas along the walkway themselves, showcasing incredible craftsmanship, and added a beautiful front patio with a fireplace and seating area to further enhance the outdoor living experience.
